AI Content Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

LISTN AI only carries music, podcasts and audiobooks made with artificial intelligence. This policy explains what we accept, what creators must tell listeners, and what we take down. It is part of our Terms of Use.

1. What counts as made with AI

  • Music: the recording is substantially generated by an AI music tool (for example Suno, Udio, Stable Audio, AIVA or MusicGen). Your own lyrics, prompts, arrangement, editing, mixing and mastering on top are welcome.
  • Podcasts: the voices are AI voices (for example ElevenLabs, Google NotebookLM or Play.ht). The script may be written by you, by AI, or by both.
  • Audiobooks: the book is read by an AI narrator. The text must be your own, licensed to you for audio, or in the public domain where you publish it.

Work recorded entirely by people, with no AI generation, does not belong on LISTN AI.

2. Naming the tool

  • Every release, podcast and audiobook names the main AI tool it was made with. An episode or chapter made with a different tool names its own.
  • Name the tool honestly. If you used several, name the one that made most of what listeners hear, and list the rest in How it is made.
  • You are responsible for following the terms of the tools you use, including any rules about commercial use, credits or subscriptions. Some tools only allow commercial use on a paid plan.

3. What is not allowed

  • Cloned voices of real people without their written permission, including singers, actors, hosts and public figures. This includes voices made to sound like a specific real person.
  • Imitating a real artist so closely that listeners could think it is them, or using a real artist's name, likeness or branding.
  • Someone else's recordings: uploading a person made song as AI, or AI output that reproduces existing recordings, melodies or lyrics you do not have rights to.
  • Misleading content: fake news presented as real, impersonation, or podcasts that present invented quotes as said by real people.
  • Harmful content: hate, harassment, sexual content involving minors, content that encourages violence or self harm, and anything illegal.
  • Streaming manipulation: uploading near copies to collect streams, using bots or scripts to play your own work, or paying for fake streams.

4. How we check

Our team listens to every new release, podcast and audiobook, and to every new episode of a live podcast unless the show is trusted. We may use automatic checks too, such as song recognition to find work that already exists elsewhere, and AI music detection. A check can be wrong, so a person always makes the final decision.

5. What happens when something breaks this policy

We may ask you to change it, take it down, hold back the earnings it made through manipulation, or close your creator account. Repeated or serious breaches, such as cloned voices or stolen recordings, lead to the account being closed.

6. Reporting

If something here uses your work, your voice or your likeness, or names the wrong AI tool, please send a rights report. We look at every report.
