LISTN AI

Terms of Use

Last updated October 18, 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding contract between you and Music Label Group ("MLG", "we", "us" or "our"), which operates LISTN AI. They apply to the LISTN AI website, the app you can install from it, Videos, the creator dashboard, our delivery services for distributors, and every other service we offer under the LISTN AI name (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, listening, subscribing to Premium, publishing on LISTN AI, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, to our AI Content Policy and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read section 18 carefully. It requires you and us to resolve most disputes through individual arbitration rather than in court, and it waives class actions. You can opt out of it within 30 days, as explained there.

1. Who can use LISTN AI

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms for you and is responsible for your activity.
  • You must be an adult able to form a binding contract to subscribe to Premium, to publish on LISTN AI, or to receive payouts.
  • You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States or the country you are in, including trade sanctions and export controls.
  • If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and you must tell us promptly if you believe someone has used it without your permission.
  • An account is for one person or one organization. You may not share, sell, rent or transfer it, or share a Premium plan with others.

3. What LISTN AI is

  • LISTN AI is a streaming service for music, podcasts and audiobooks made with artificial intelligence (together, the "Content"). The Content is supplied by the creators and distributors who own or control the rights to it (each a "Creator"). We operate the Service and grant the license in section 4 to you on the Creators' behalf.
  • Each release, podcast and audiobook names the AI tool it was made with, as the Creator tells us. Details such as BPM, key, genre and waveform are worked out automatically or supplied by Creators. We check the Content before it goes live, but we cannot promise that every detail is exact.
  • AI made Content may contain mistakes, invented facts or statements that do not reflect the views of MLG or of any real person. Podcasts and audiobooks on LISTN AI are for entertainment and general information, not professional advice.
  • What is available can change at any time. A Creator may take Content down, and we may remove it.

4. Your license to listen

4.1 What you may do

We grant you, on behalf of the rights owners, a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to stream the Content inside the Service, for your own personal, non-commercial listening:

  • without an account, short previews;
  • with a free account, the Content in full, with ads between items and, in long episodes and chapters, within them; and
  • with Premium, the Content in full without ads, for as long as your plan is active.

The Content is licensed to you, not sold. The rights owners keep all rights in it, and every right not expressly granted to you is reserved.

4.2 What you may not do

Unless the rights owner gives you permission in writing, you may not:

  • record, capture, rip, download or copy streams, or get around the ads, previews or any other technical measure of the Service;
  • play the Content in public, broadcast it, or use it in a business, venue or event, or in your own videos, podcasts, livestreams or productions;
  • upload the Content to any other service, or sell, rent, lend or distribute it;
  • use the Content, its files or its metadata to train, fine-tune, test or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning system, or to build any dataset; or
  • claim the Content as your own, or register it with Content ID or any other rights management system.

4.3 If you break this license

If you break this section 4, your license ends at once and we may close your account. The rights owners may also have claims against you under copyright law.

5. Free listening and ads

  • Free accounts are paid for by ads. Ad breaks of one or more short audio, video or picture ads play every few items, and long episodes and chapters may have a break inside them. Some ads can be skipped after a few seconds.
  • You may not block, mute, skip around or interfere with ads by technical means, or use any tool that does. If you do, we may limit your account to previews.
  • Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for what they offer. A click on an ad takes you to the advertiser's site, under its own terms.

6. Premium and billing

  • Premium. Premium is a monthly plan that removes the ads. What each plan includes and costs is shown before you subscribe.
  • Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically every month, and we charge your payment card at the start of each month until you stop renewing. You can press Stop my plan on the My plan page at any time. Your plan then keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for, and ends. We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
  • Payments. Prices are shown in US dollars, together with any taxes that apply. Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure page, under Stripe's own terms. We never receive your full card number.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we try again over the following days. If every attempt fails, your plan ends and ads come back.
  • Price changes. We may change plan prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and you can stop renewing before it does.
  • Customers in the EU and UK. If you ask for Premium to start straight away, you agree that it starts before the withdrawal period ends. If you withdraw within 14 days, we may charge for the part of the month you used.
  • Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is open.

7. Publishing on LISTN AI

This section applies to anyone who publishes Content on LISTN AI, directly or through a distributor. A distributor that delivers releases to us also has a separate written agreement with us, and where that agreement and these Terms conflict, that agreement governs.

7.1 Publishing and review

You can open a creator account yourself and publish without waiting for us. Music is checked automatically before it goes live. We may require review by our team before your Content goes live, for example if you break these Terms or our AI Content Policy, and we may refuse, pause or remove any Creator or any Content, at our discretion.

7.2 Made with AI

Everything you publish must be made with AI as our AI Content Policy describes, and must name the AI tool it was made with, honestly. You must follow the terms of the AI tools you use, including any rules about commercial use, attribution or paid plans, and you must hold the rights those tools give you to the output.

7.3 Your promises

For everything you upload or deliver, including recordings, voices, text, artwork, names, logos and metadata ("Your Content"), you represent and warrant that:

  • you own it, or control all the rights needed to publish it and license it on LISTN AI in every country where it is offered;
  • it does not copy or reproduce any existing recording, melody, lyrics, text or artwork you do not have rights to, including through the AI tools you used;
  • it does not use, clone or imitate the voice, likeness or identity of any real person without that person's written permission, and is not designed to make listeners believe a real artist, host or narrator made it;
  • for audiobooks, the text is yours, licensed to you for audio, or in the public domain in every country where you offer it;
  • you have the licenses needed for any musical works in your recordings, and you will pay, from your share, all royalties and other amounts owed to anyone with an interest in Your Content. We are responsible for any license the law places on the streaming service itself, such as the US blanket mechanical license, and you remain responsible for everything else;
  • your metadata, including the AI tool, credits, ISRCs, genres and explicit content flags, is accurate; and
  • Your Content does not infringe or misappropriate anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights, is not defamatory, misleading, obscene or unlawful, and contains no malware.

7.4 The license you give us

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide (or limited to the territories you choose), royalty free license, apart from the payments in section 7.5, for as long as Your Content is on LISTN AI, to:

  • host, store, copy, encode, transcode and stream it;
  • license it to listeners under section 4, for free listening with ads and for Premium;
  • place ads before, between and, for long episodes and chapters, within it;
  • create and play previews and waveforms, and run automatic checks on it, such as song recognition and AI music detection;
  • show your names, logos, artwork, biography, the AI tool and your other metadata on the Service, in charts, in emails, in social media posts and in advertising that promote your Content or LISTN AI; and
  • allow our service providers to do these things for us.

This license continues after Your Content is removed for copies we must keep for legal, tax, accounting or dispute purposes, and backups until they are overwritten, and for a reasonable period to take down promotional material.

7.5 Getting paid

  • Every stream of 30 seconds or more by a signed in listener counts. Each month we add up the streams of Your Content into a statement. Premium streams and free streams each have the value shown in your creator dashboard, and you earn the share of that value shown there. We may change the values and your share by giving you at least 30 days' notice; changes do not apply to streams before they take effect.
  • Streams that pass our daily limits per listener, and streams from test accounts, are not paid.
  • Earnings are held for the period shown in your dashboard in case of fraud and corrections. After that, you can request a payout once your available balance reaches the minimum shown. We pay by PayPal or bank transfer to the details you give us, and any fees your bank or PayPal charges are yours.
  • We may deduct overpayments and any earnings from fraudulent or artificial activity.
  • If you believe a statement is wrong, tell us within 12 months of its date. After that, to the extent the law allows, the statement is final.

7.6 Taxes

You are responsible for all taxes on your earnings. We may ask you for tax forms, such as IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN, withhold tax where the law requires, and report payments to tax authorities. We may hold payouts until we receive the information the law requires.

7.7 No artificial activity

You may not use fake accounts, bots, scripts or paid schemes to generate plays, streams, likes or follows, upload near copies of the same work to collect streams, or do anything else designed to inflate counts or earnings. Earnings connected with such activity are forfeited, and we may close the accounts involved.

7.8 Removing Content and leaving

You may ask us to take Content down or to close your creator account by writing to us. We may remove Your Content if it breaks these Terms or our AI Content Policy, or is the subject of a rights complaint, and we may hold related earnings while we look into it.

8. What you post

  • Your profile, display name, photo, biography, comments and anything else you post ("User Content") remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for example, resize or reformat) and share your User Content on the Service and in promoting LISTN AI, for as long as it is on the Service.
  • Do not post anything that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or spam, that shares anyone else's personal information, or that links to unauthorized copies of Content. We may remove User Content and restrict accounts at our discretion.

9. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • scrape, crawl or copy the Service or its catalog by automated means, except for public search engines indexing public pages;
  • play Content by automated means, or create plays, streams or ad views that are not real people listening;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Service or the app;
  • get around access controls, ads, rate limits or payment steps, or test the Service's security without our written permission;
  • upload malware, or interfere with or overload the Service;
  • commit fraud, impersonate anyone, or resell access to the Service; or
  • use the Service in breach of any law.

10. Other services

The Service links to and relies on services run by others, such as Stripe, PayPal, video platforms used by Videos, and advertisers' sites. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Our rights

The Service, including its software, design, text and graphics, and the LISTN AI name and logo, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to them except to use the Service as these Terms allow. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without owing you anything.

12. Copyright and other rights complaints

12.1 Our policy

We respect intellectual property and personality rights and respond to notices of claimed infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and similar laws in other countries.

12.2 Sending a notice

Use the Report a rights problem form, or write to our Copyright Agent below. A notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough);
  2. identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed, or a representative list if there are several;
  3. identification of the material on LISTN AI you want removed, with its link;
  4. your name and contact details, including an email address, and a postal address and telephone number if you have them;
  5. a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the right claimed or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

12.3 Our Copyright Agent

Copyright Agent, Music Label Group, Washington, D.C., United States. Email: info@listnmusic.com.

12.4 What we do

We remove or disable access to the material, tell the Creator or user who provided it, and send them a copy of the notice, which may include your contact details. We may hold related earnings while the matter is open.

12.5 Counter-notices

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send our Copyright Agent a counter-notice that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed;
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address and telephone number; and
  5. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.

We will send the counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

12.6 False notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

12.7 Repeat infringers

We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of Creators and users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

12.8 Voices, likeness and other rights

To report a cloned or imitated voice, the use of a name or likeness, a trademark issue, or any other rights issue, use the same form.

13. Suspension and closing your account

  • You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. Stop any Premium plan first. Creators close their creator accounts by writing to us.
  • We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us, Creators or other users, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.
  • If a Creator's account ends, we pay the earnings due after the hold period, less the deductions in section 7.5, unless they are forfeited under section 7.7.
  • Sections 4.2, 4.3, 7.3, 7.4 (as described there), 7.5 to 7.7, 8, 11, 12 and 14 to 19, and any other terms that by their nature should survive, continue after your account ends.

14. Disclaimers

The Service, the Content and all related information are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, that AI made Content is accurate, or that the AI tool named for an item is correct. Creators, not MLG, are responsible for Your Content and the rights in it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MLG and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless MLG and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of Your Content or User Content, your use of the AI tools behind Your Content, your use of Content beyond the license in these Terms, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or anyone's rights. We may take over the defense of any such claim at our own cost, and you will cooperate with us.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or on the Service at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it. Changes do not apply to disputes that arose before they took effect.

18. Disputes, arbitration and governing law

18.1 Talk to us first

Before starting any formal proceeding, contact us at info@listnmusic.com and describe the dispute. We will both try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.

18.2 Binding individual arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and MLG agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or its Commercial Arbitration Rules if you use the Service as a Creator or for a business. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator decides all questions of arbitrability, except questions about section 18.4, which a court decides. Hearings may take place by video, or in person in the county where you live or in Washington, D.C. Filing and arbitrator fees are paid as the AAA rules provide.

18.3 Exceptions

Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either of us may also ask a court for an injunction or other equitable relief to stop the infringement or misuse of intellectual property or personality rights.

18.4 No class actions

You and MLG may bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims of more than one person. If this section 18.4 is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be decided in court, not in arbitration.

18.5 Opting out

You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing info@listnmusic.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name, the email address of your account and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

18.6 Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington, D.C., and you and MLG consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring proceedings in its courts.

19. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the AI Content Policy, the Privacy Policy and any terms shown to you when you subscribe or publish are the entire agreement between you and MLG about the Service.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or to an affiliate.
  • Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce any part is not a waiver of it.
  • Rights owners. The rights owners whose Content is licensed under section 4 may enforce that section. Otherwise, these Terms do not give rights to anyone else.
  • Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Notices. We may send you notices by email to your account's address or on the Service, and you agree to receive communications from us electronically.
  • California users. Under California Civil Code section 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
