Ads on free accounts
A short break every few items pays for free listening.
Free accounts are paid for by ads. Every few songs, episodes or chapters, a short break plays before the next one: an audio ad, or a video while the page is on screen. Long episodes and chapters may have a break in the middle too. Video ads can usually be skipped after a few seconds.
Picture ads never stop your listening: now and then a small picture appears in the corner for a few seconds while the music keeps playing. Close it any time with the X.
Ads come from our own servers, are chosen by what you are listening to rather than by a profile of you, and advertisers never receive your name or email.
